Students

Screen Shot 2016-01-24 at 9.49.43 AMThe social component of teaching is profoundly shaping education. Students are as likely to turn to Twitter and YouTube as they are to books when they need to tap into an individual’s expertise on any number of subjects. My own students tweet me questions regularly. So…in an effort to expedite the process and drop a little worldwide knowledge, I am currently compiling a series of “Office Hours” videos featuring some of the most frequently discussed topics. The videos, posted on YouTube, are all around 2-3 minutes and geared to engage specific questions on the APUSH exam, but any history student should find them useful.

Also, I have put together an easy-to-follow WRITING GUIDE for those of you having “essay anxiety.” A history essay does not have to be that stressful – and if you follow my straight-forward strategy, you should have no problem. If you have to provide citations, here is a list illustrating the proper format for the Most Common Citations for History Essays. And remember…I offer comprehensive web-based COURSES and private one on one review sessions via Skype or in person (if you happen to live in Los Angeles). Just CONTACT me for more information.

Check out these sample videos…I am adding more to my YouTube channel all the time. So be sure to subscribe.

With compliments,

Keith
